If selected by the user, an overview of the non-coding RNAs annotation is provided by ncPRO-seq. This overview is generated as explained in the section 5.5.4. The miRNAs are not included in this overview as they are profiled in the mature and/or pre-miRNA annotation analysis.
Then, the profiling of the non-coding RNAs (section 5.5.5) can be performed by selecting the RNAs classes to focus on and the associated extension parameters as presented in section 5.5.2 (Figure 3).
Regarding the ncRNAs from the RFAM database, several targets can be specified. The profiling analysis will be separately done for each input keyword.
